Purchased as a gift because my sister-in-law loved mine. This gadget, or mini computer is excellent for wifi usage in the home and is really great for trips. No need for the average person to take a laptop on trips, especially if you just use it to access email, internet information etc etc. The itouch will do all of that and more, but you must have a wifi connection. I love mine and so far she loves hers.

Hey, I know that there are a ton of reviews on this thing. This one is for the non techy AARP’s. I’ve had my Touch for a month now. I bought it to replace a Dell pocket PC that I used for my GPS and to carry around some medical programs I use at work. The touch opened a whole new world of podcasts to me. It does all the stuff I need at work, but in addition when I’m in the car I can play podcasts instead of using the radio. The interface with i tunes on my PC is very easy. I also enjoy carrying around all the photos that are on my computer that have been magically transfered to the touch. I can show off my grand chidren to an ever widening audience. I can’t get and Iphone for a bunch of reasons and this thing hooks up to wifi hotspots easily. It has issues with my home wireless, but that is moot since I see now reason to use it in that mode at home. Finally, I’ve dropped it a couple of times and it is none the worse for the trauma. Don’t let the $300 pricetag deter you. This thing is worth its weight in gold. Roger.

This does everything it says it does and more, and not wanting to pay for full-time cell phone internet service, the newest iPod Touch fills the bill very well. It is easy to use, intuitive, and great fun. My 32GB is more than capacious with many apps (mostly free) , currently 91 iTunes University lectures, and many CD uploads. I am amazed at the quality of video podcasts I download. I still have 80% of available capacity. My wife fell in love with it so she’ll soon have her own 16GB iPod Touch, saving about $100.00. Great with home Wi-Fi and easy to connect to public hotspots.

I have had my Ipod touch 32G for about a year now, and its is still working like I have just bought it. I love it!!!!!!! The only thing better than the Ipod touch is the Iphone3GS.

The Apple Ipod Touch is one of my most favorite gadgets. It is literally an extension of my life. I do not leave home without it. I purchased it from amazon with 1 day shipping and it got here the very next day which obviously meant that I did nothing for the next 3 hours except explore everything I could on it. I uploaded all my songs, pictures, videos, and some movies, instantly. All of them play beautifully on the Itouch. My baby cousins are also in love with the speakers that enable them to actually hear the games and movies they love. This is my second Ipod Touch. My first one was the first generation Ipod touch. I do love this one for its speakers though. All in all, a great buy. You just have to love this product.
