Charges of theft of patents that Apple CEO Steve Jobs posted on the HTC finally responded. HTC boss Peter Chou dismissed all the allegations in a statement on the official website of the company.
“HTC does not agree with Apple’s action and will fully defend himself. HTC highly appreciate the protection of intellectual property and will continue to respect others and their technology innovators such as we have done, but we will continue to compete with our innovation in a healthy manner so that consumers get the best experience using mobile devices, “said Peter Chou, CEO of HTC Corporation, Wednesday (17/3/2010).
Previously, Apple’s lawsuit against HTC’s register of charges of theft of patents used by the Taiwanese smartphone vendor is artificial. In total there are 20 alleged Apple patent against HTC, among others, in terms of touch screen technology, the identifier of motion, and energy management.
Apple CEO Steve Jobs had said that the competition is a healthy business practices, but not by stealing his patent. Not only HTC, Apple previously sued Nokia for patent infringement on its smartphone products.
